I’ve always resisted traveling to cold places. I prefer tropical weather, packing light, and warm sunsets, but when an opportunity to see polar bears in the Arctic wild came up, I decided to brave the cold and go for it. I never imagined that the sight of a polar bear would elicit such an emotional response, but the first time I locked eyes with a bear, the tears started flowing. As she stood on her hind legs, leaning against the tundra vehicle, I felt as though she was trying to convey the plight of her kind. As if she was pleading with us to stop the destruction of our planet and help save her species. I still don’t have the words to describe the connection I felt — some things you just have to experience for yourself!
We have some leopards, elephants, and lions on our walls which make me smile daily. The vacation/coffee table books may not be done for a long while but that’s ok because the memories loom large! It is impossible to describe to others and I am so glad this is a memory we’ll share together.

Nina, Thank you so much for planning the trip of a lifetime. The vacation felt like nonstop concierge service as we hopped from connection to connection, sometimes skipping long airport lines. Our tour guide in Capetown was also insightful and saved us a ton of time hitting the sites as well. The gifts from the tour company along the various stops were the cherry on top. Thanks again for a fantastic trip and helping us focus on the sites and memories.
